Yellow Travertine Cross Cut

Travertines are sedimentary rocks formed as a result of geological, geomorphological, hydrological, climatological, and biological activities. Travertine formations are commonly observed along tectonic fault lines. Denizli Travertines are a Geographical Indication, differing from travertines found in other regions. Travertines are used in facade, floor, wall, and furniture designs. Depending on the project typology, they can be used naturally, with epoxy filling for interior spaces and cement filling for exterior spaces. Travertine exhibits different texture characteristics depending on the cutting direction and is produced using two different cutting techniques: vein cut and cross cut. In addition to being produced in blocks and slabs, it can also be cut to size. It is a natural stone that can also be treated with honed, brushed, and other surface finishes.
